American Hardwood Promotion Program

The HMA’s American Hardwood Promotion Program is the industry’s only nationwide marketing communications effort to build consumer demand for U.S. hardwood flooring, cabinetry, millwork and furniture.  It reaches 30 million consumers annually.

Our comprehensive website at www.hardwoodinfo.com registers well in excess of 3 million page views each year.  Consumers are able to see 20 American hardwoods in four different finishes and get design and decorating ideas and shopping advice for hardwood flooring, furniture, cabinetry and mouldings.  It is a one-stop resource for care and repair tips, information about sustainability and green design and “how-to” projects for do-it-yourselfers.

The American Hardwood Information Center, a non-profit service of the Hardwood Manufacturers Association, is a resource for selecting, building and decorating with American hardwoods, providing shopping and care tips about hardwood floors, furniture, cabinetry and millwork.  The Center provides regular feature releases and images to consumer decorating and remodeling magazines, syndicated newspaper writers and metro newspaper home furnishings writers and editorsfrom advice on shopping for, decorating and remodeling with hardwood flooring, furniture, cabinetry and millwork, to its ultimate care.

As leaders in American hardwood promotion, the HMA doesn't try to be all things to all people, instead we focus on reaching millions of consumers every year and doing it with excellence.
