National Conference & Expo agenda items
Will you be joining us at the Hyatt Regency Austin, March 24-26, for HMA’s 2021 National Conference and Expo? The theme of the event is “Resilience.” And all industry stakeholders are welcome to attend. Here’s what’s being planned.
On the Dais in Austin
After such a challenging year, HMA felt it important to once again call upon the expertise of ITR Economics™. In a presentation entitled, “Moving Forward,” ITR economist, Connor Lokar will be exploring all the economic changes that have occurred, and what they mean to our future.
He’ll also “assess business demand in 2021 and into 2022; present the unintended consequences of the massive stimulus programs that will impact businesses in the years ahead; and present clear, actionable Management Objectives that are right for the coming years, as we adapt to the ‘new normal.’”
Also on the Agenda …
- We’ve asked the pros at LastLine Cyber, Inc. to also join us because every business is at risk from the ever-evolving cyber threat landscape. In a presentation entitled, “The Scary Truth About Cybercrime,” LastLine Cyber Inc. Founders, Joshua and Jacob Pribanic, will demonstrate common methods used to defraud organizations; identify what to look for, and ways to avoid these kinds of attacks, and provide guidance regarding implementing a cyber security strategy, even with limited resources.
- Be prepared to learn and laugh with consultant/coach and founder of Advancement Designs, Thomas Brush. In his interactive workshop entitled, “Being Clear on What is Real: An Overlooked Pathway to Resilience,” participants will explore an overlooked pathway to achieve success.
- And to top off the event, industry representatives from the American Hardwood Export Council, the Hardwood Federation, The Hardwood Market Report, and the Real American Hardwood Coalition plan to be on hand to provide industry and sector updates, and much more.
